I didnt really think about this till now that Ive read some threads here with people having navigation, but my MS3 GT never came with it.
Is it optional for GT's or is it standard?
Can I have the dealer put one in for no charge?

It is an option at purchase time, and it is expensive, $1700 if I recall. It cannot be added after car assembly. There are after market Navs which work very well and are much cheaper.

Mazda nav ftl. If you really want it, I'd get a double DIN dash kit and pick up a nice Eclipse or Alpine or Kenwood unit with DVD playback and whatnot.

Agreed, Alpine has a great system that has a portable unit that connects to the head unit that has I think a 5" screen. Best of both worlds.

No. There's no subscription. It's free. You just pay for your hardware of choice.

some GPS systems offer satellite traffic which you have to pay for.
