p5 bumper and headlights

Hey I heard that the front fenders and hoods are the same on the p5 and sedan, if thats true is it possible to use a p5 bumper and headlights? I really like the look of the P5 headlights and am saving up for the 03 msp bodykit for my 02 es anyway.

yes, they will all fit ,BUT depending on the year P5 they have the bumper marker light on it. and as well as possibly a side turn signal on fender. as for the headlights they will need to be rewired P5 have a seperate highbeam..good luck

yeah the p5 and the protege are identical front the doors up, thats the only thing, there is a 2 bulb system = wiring job!

Yeah there are a few users here who have P5 lights on a sedan. And if you don't mind the lights on the front bumper then yeah you can use the P5 bumper. Check out the conversion thread for all the parts you need for the bumper swap.

so wait, i can get a stock P5 lip and install it on my 03 LX, or do i need the bumper support and all... am i missing sumthin???? thx guys

Lip? What lip? I was talking about the whole front bumper. But yeah, with a different bumper reinforcement, splash shields and upper grill you can put the P5 bumper on your sedan.

I believe that the grill in the front bumper is different, that is why mine does not fit properly, msp & mp5 grill is diff from the sedan
