So i ordered the new p&p head from speedcircuit.net last week and i was curious when you have heads ported does it lower the compression of your motor?

I figured that if the combustion chamber was ported out it would lower the compression from the extra space that was machined out

They also polish them and the combustion side of the head. More knowleged people may correct me though.

I got the stage 1 head, im saving the extra 300 and getting a set of cams to go with my new head
