Leaving lights on, but no beep

First post, I have a nasty problem with leaving the lights on when i get out of my car, but ive noticed that when i open any other door other than the drivers side, there is an annoying beeping sound to remind you that the lights are still on. I have an 02 lx, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix this?

so your saying it does beep when your lights are on? cause if the lights are on when the key is out the beeping will alert you so you dont drain your battery, but if the beeping comes on when the lights are off then you may have a wiring issue

Ok just to clarify, When the lights are on, key out of the ignition, it will beep for every door that is open except the driver side door. Which is the one i use so if i left the lights on it will not beep.

I bet it is the drivers door pin switch ,does the dome light come on when the door is open if it doesnt then take out the pin switch and clean it so it makes contact

no it should beep when the drivers door is open, it wouldnt do you no good if the passengers door opened and it beeped, what if you had no one in? it should beep for the drivers door, other doors not sure, i will check and post back in a while

Just noticed today, that the dome light does not turn on for drivers door. Also in the dash, the door open light will NOT light up when the drivers door is open, but will for passanger side and rears. I dont think my friends like pushing my car so i can pop the clutch any more...lol gotta get it fixed

must be bad wiring somewhere, your car just never knows when the door is open
