Alright guys, im needing some help from the pros on this one..

I have:

5zigen ProRacer GN+ (17x7.5) (+48mm offset)
http://www.edgeracing.com/images/wheel/5zigen_pro_racer_gn_(hyper_black)_angle_zoom.jpg

my car is lowered about 2 inches or so.. (not too sure) possibly a bit more, all i know is that i have a "one finger" clearance of wheel gap with my stocks..

Origionally, i went to discount tire (because i have a connection there) and they said something about 205/40/17.. i saw the tire and it seemed that the tire wall was small... they told me that if i wanted to go with a wider tire wall, i would need to roll my rear fenders..

Rolling my fenders this weekend.. not sure if i need to roll just the rear.. i would think, just to be safe, i would need to roll the fronts also..???

I wanted something that would give me a nice "wide enough" tire wall that would give me some protection for my rims... possibly a 215/40/17 or 205/45/17... what do you guys think??

Im still really noob at tire and wheel stuff..

ANY INPUT WOULD HELP A LOT!! THANK YOU!!

Peace and Thank You Guys/Gals,
RJ

according to this, you can run a 215/40/17...

you wont scrub with 205 40. you will scrape the wheels regardless, some tires have rim guard that kinda hugs the wheel.

With that offset, you should be fine with the 215/40s. That is the best match for tire diameter to the stocks as well.

215/40 or 215/45 will work fine. That's the setup i had.

Why don't you order the stuff from us? We're a wholesaler for 5zigen. i can do wheels only or tire and wheel package.
