some idiot hit me! lol so im chilin getin ready to do a u turn and i feel a big push...i thought it was my clutch at first and that maybe i let the clutch out in gear..but then i saw nuetral and then " FUCK " i get out and it was some guy in a explorer and he was beggin me not to call cops and "ill pay for it right now man, i sware" i said.."na man fuck that im not gona get fucked over again" as i was dialing to get the cops. so the cops come and it turns out he doesnt have insurance...i got a report and im calling my insurance tomorrow...the damage isnt bad jsut the rear bumper is pulled out a bit and scratched...luckily he didnt hit the hatch door...but this guy at the mazda dealer had a body shop and he gona hook me up......just thought id share my story.....

yea man good thing you called the cops............buuuut if it was me and he told me not to call the cops, I'd tell him look....unless you got 5 grands cash now, if not I'm calling. :)

chances are if he had a weapon I highly doubt he would hang around until the cops came. :eek:

yea he said he had cash but after his story changed..."my boss has the money, we can go get it" it woulda been str8 if he had like 500 cash moneys and i woulda took it but he didnt and started flippin the story so i said fuck that shit...not this time, not this car, no way

my friend had some guy back up into him at a drive up atm machine and the guy said the same thing. my friend took the money from him, 120 or so cash ( luckily the guy was at the atm, no reason not to have the money.lol) for a bent license plate/holder.lmao
made out good in his situation.
good luck with the bumper fix. im sure it will be fine.

that just happend to me and i need a whole new thing , and do you live in il casue i need some work done also

Whether the numbnuts had $500 or $500,000 I would call the police and report it as an accident. Better to CYA then to get stiffed...

Look on the bright side, at least you'll get those rock marks fixed on your bumper.

Well you may want to re-think that.If the guy had 500k on him to give ya and you said NO WAY MAN!Im calling the cops.. You better go get checked for a brain tumor,Your car only costs 24k.
To me there is always a price to keep me from calling the cops.If I can make out on the deal as in getting my car fixed and still having cash left.There is no reason to get the police involved just because the law says so.But dont take any checks from these guys,Only cash.Im sure that goes without saying.

$500 dollars probably wouldn't cover it. New bumper cover plus new rear bumper support (even in a tiny, tiny accident where the bumper cover barely looks damaged, the bumper support could be damaged), paint, new clips/bolts.. probably $1000-1500.
Hope you get it all fixed up and back better than it was before the accident :)

Thanks for busting some ass without insurance. If I have to pay for that crap then they better put anyone away that tries to get off not paying.

I mean pay for insurance. Makes me sick that people get away with not paying for it. I haven't been in an accident in the 9 years I have been driving. Plenty of tickets but no accidents :) *knocks on wood*

Probably because he has a trunk full of blow. If someone offered me $500k I would take it, say "What accident?" and move to a new house asap.

got my car back....looks good and i wil benefit 250 from all of this....the total of the fix was 886 and i have a 500 dollar deductable....the insurance company gave me a 386 dollar check and the guy from the body shop works at mazda ( he owns the shop) he only had me give him half of the deductable so when i get the refund of the deductable from insurance company i can keep the whole check and i gain 250...sucks that i got hit but i wil eventually have a gain from this.................

LOL...clos561, same shit happened to me dude! A stupid cab driver tapped my car's bumper.
The repair bill was $995, and the medical/inconvenience compensation was $750 per me and my wife, each. I of course didn't repair the car yet...I'm waiting on some new bumper designs.
This car takes a hit pretty well, don't you think?

yea...its not bad i guess but he wasnt even going fast...he let the clutch out and the car hopped on my bumper and fucked it up...i got it repaired and its all good now....now i wait for my insurance check..AHH
