I think that i'll be getting Falken Ziex Ze 512. They were rated good by consumer reports, and with money and all weather drivability being an issue i'm thinking that these will be a good choice for now... i'll be putting them on http://www.kyowadesigns.com/KR210B.html (17" black) as soon as they come in.

the TRZ and AWR replace the same mount, so you would have to pick one of the two. to do both would take about an hour, so $89.

I have a MAM shortblock about 3k miles on it and noticed the oil light coming on....I pulled the pan to see if the oil pickup screen was possibly clogged and found an oil squirter.....my oil light comes on from idle to 2800rpm and then goes away.....oil pump??? bearings???? I would like to replace both items....it still would safe me a bunch of $$$$ in hte long run.. I would like to send the car there since I have a Thumper kit that I want installed aswell ....if thats possible

yes thats possible. sounds like you may have a pressure problem, could be a bad oil pump. having squirters missing should not cause the oil light to come on in its own right. let me know when and if you would like all this to happen. i'd also like to know what parts are in the short block (pistons/rods/bearings/gaskets)

well here is the trick - if your pump has the billet gear in it and it is ruined we'll have to go with an OEM pump unless a new gear is bought. doing the rod and main bearings will require a partial teardown of the engine. figure $800 for the job.

install on the EMS is about an hour unless you go PnP then not very long at all. You cannot install just the rods in this engine because of the style of the factory rod and piston they come as an assembly and you have to replace both parts. actual install of them would be pretty long you have to remove the head on this engine so I would say minimum is a full day, so roughly $1000 to do it all maybe less.

i would reccomend a stage 1 or 2+. these have the more streetable feel. we would have to go with a new OE flywheel.
