Axleback Uninstall?

Okay, before I go breaking things again, what is the best way to get the axleback separated from the rubber oval thing? I'm assuming that's a bushing but since I have no idea (and I'm new at this) hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about. Thanks, I'm hoping to get my exhaust off today but need some help on taking off the axleback.

Spray them with WD40 and twist them off with set of channel lock pliers.
Sometimes you can just get them off with your hands and nothing else, the above is the easiest way. There called exhaust hangers.
