Are there any performance chips out there for the mazda 3 non turbo 2.3L?
If there are any witch is best?
And is the cold air intake really worth it for my car?

there are no performance chips out there for our car.. if you want to tune it there is a 1200 or so dollar piggy back system called microtech. i would go with intake/header/exhaust combo first and see if you want to further you tuning from there bolt ons are usually the place to start with a n/a car.

I have a customer who wants to know about the Dyno Torque and horsepower increase with the intake/exhaust/header combo. Is there a Mazda sponsered graph out there? BHP VS RPM, Torque VS RPM. Also how much do the stock tires weigh on the 07 Speed 3? Need help with this one!

do a search there are some dyno's for the speed3 all over the place. but if you talking about the speed 3 then i sure hope your not putting a header on it??/ intake and exhaust supposedly was giving a nice return on $$

I constantly messed around with my old 240's and with me buying a brand new car, with all of this friggin smog protected computers(damned relearning thing) i dont wanna mod because the computer just cancels it out. is there a cheap way to keep your mods power? i.e. disconnecting the battery and stepping on the brake after you install a new intake, exhaust etc...or do i have to buy a piggyback system? is there a chip out yet or at least in the works?

no no chip nor will there ever be... microtech is pretty much the only option that has a base map for the mazda3 otherwise you would be starting from scratch with a unit like aem. check out protegegarage.com or nsnmotorsports.com for microtech ordering/pricing.

i thought the microtech was a standalone? with the preset maps for the microtech on the 3...is there dyno results. Cause I have heard that you can get up to a 15hp gain with the proper tuning.

It is. It is not a piggyback.

What about the performance chip that SLRMOTORSPORTS make?
Are those any good for the 3?
