Why aren't the door Unlock & Locks Illuminated?

Am i the only one who has noticed this? My old maxima, tauraus, even older maxima, and nissan altima had illuminated lock/unlock buttons...

I remember my '02 protege5 didn't have a light in the ashtray.

Somethings they cheap out on just makes me wonder..(screwy)

It'd be nice, but I'm not upset about it. I wish the sunroof was 1 touch & the doors locked when put in gear.

totatlly on the one touch. i'm still debating trying to set up the relay and what not like zapwizard designed for the protege...
