From the front half forward, the Protege5 is the exact same car. The rear door glass and obviously the stuff behind that is different, but the entire front end, front doors, sideskirts, hood, front fenders, most of the exhaust, all of the engine.. same same.

The only thing on the front that is different is the headlights.

(little late ok a lot late.) Yes it will fit. If you are getting it brand new make sure you check the Warranty. Some makers will void any warranty if you do not use hood clips.

haha I will not even edit that. Thats what happens when I post before coffee. Lets try the term "hood pins".

you don't need hood pins for a stock hood :)

If fiber images made me run hood pins to have a warranty on my hood I'd shoot them in the face.

that being said, what's a warranty?

I agree this does not make sense.

"Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks
THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR COMPETITION AND SHOW USE ONLY. HOOD PINS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL HOODS. "

Yet it sounds like as soon as you make holes for hood pins it goes into a gray area as far as coverage.
