hey guys,
i recently purchases the RB front and rear swaybar kit. i dont think its coming with bushings, maybe/maybe not. in the picture from the sale it didnt have bushing in it.
was wanting to know, to correctly install these bars what parts/part numbers would i need. i know i need endlinks and bushings but just not sure what the numbers are on them and any other parts to do the install.
i have an 03 LX. any input would help. thanks guys, hope you can help.

I just went through this conversion, this is what you'll need if indeed that eBay combo doesn't have the goodies. Apparently there were dealers with "display" sway bars in the parts dept or showroom, as I saw a similar eBay ad for just the bars only from a dealer.
The front swaybar will only need the two D" bushings, you re-use the stock end-links (assuming you can get them off!) and horseshoe brackets. The entire parts list for the kit shows some cotter pins, exhaust gaskets and castle nuts that may be part of dropping that subframe, which does not look like a job for the timid.
The rear is more expen$ive. You'll need the two "D" bushings (be sure and get the latest new teflon reinforced part #BP7H-28-156E), the corresponding two horseshoe brackets (they're MUCH larger and WILL NOT FIT your stock rear subframe) and the MP3/MSP rear subframe itself (suprisingly affordable, esp from MazdaMotorSports -about $65!) and the two (longer) end-links. I have heard the stock end-links will work, but they are a bit too short and can run the danger of the rear sway bar flipping forward at full susp droop. The rear job is any easy hour's work, but mark the concentric bolts (inner bolt on the rearmost lateral link) before you remove them, and still, get an alignment very soon.
The full parts list is available at protegefaq.net, under susp mods, look for the MSP sway-bar kit parts list. BTW, you already have two of the 9978-01-025 bolts on your car, so you'll only need to buy two, and you won't need any of the 9994-01-001 nuts unless you can't get your stock end-links off.
Good luck, greatest mod I ever bought. They all should have been built like that.

nice. i just picked up the Clunk fix kit in a for sale thread. so that pretty much takes care of the bushings and brackets an everything. wont need to get the MSP rear subframe, thank god.lol
but i will most likely need to get the MSP rear endlinks. and think that is probably it. front can be reused. my car has 60k on it. so i think with a little finess the endlinks will come off. and just the front bushings for an MSP.
did you install the front bar? ive heard pros and cons about it and wanted to see what you thought. how much of a hassle is it to do?

Lucky you on the clunk-fix, I guess that would negate needing the subframe. Doh! I'm going to have the front bar done at a shop after veiwing a "how-to" thread in here somewhere on it. One thread says you can just loosen up some things and "snake it out", the other is much more involved.
If you have access to a good quality impact wrench, the end-links should come right off.
Also I failed to give credit to theMAN for the FAQ site. I will now watch all of the "Planet Of The Apes" movies OUT OF SEQUENCE for punishment

The front is a pain in the @ss to take out. We didn't drop the whole subframe but we had to loosen it and then snake it out. We had to loosen the rack and pinion as well since it was hooked up to the subframe. Mind you I have a 1.6L so it might be different on yours. Took us about 4 hours to do the front with 3 guys. The rear was real easy. Took us about 45min.
