yet another intake thread....

gjacobs20 (don't buy/sell from this guy!) boned me on the Injen CAI intake i bought from him......no filter, no brackets, no vibramount, even though I specifically told him to send ALL parts. any idea where I can get these? I tried several local autostores w/ no luck.

The Injen tubing is 2-3/4", do I want a filter w/ the same diameter? Cylinder or tapered? Straight or angled? Is there plenty of space for a longer filter down in the bumper?

Any filter that fits the pipe should do. You dont have much room down there for a bigger filter either. Sorry but im not abotu to pull mine out to measure it :)

Bracket? which? to relocate the over flow bottle? look in the how to's.

Vibramount? wtf is that? honestly if you got the piping and couplers your fine, your probally wanted a new filter anyway and the over flow bottle is free to relocate.

Yeah, the original kit (off Injen.com) was supposed to have 2 brackets to relocate the coolant overflow and some wiring, and the vibra-mount must be some sort of rubber bushing used when you bolt the piping to the frame...
