Hey guys,
On Monday, on way to work, the AT light started blinking and the engine light came up (felt like I was in second gear). I have a 2002.5 Protege Sport Shift model. I brought it in (towed by AAA) for service at my Mazda dealer and got it back on Thursday since they had problems getting the sensor that needed replacement. Today, Saturday, I had the same thing happen. I have an extended warranty for only a few thousand miles more. Do I need a new transmission? Has this happened to someone here before?
Any suggestions? I dont want this problem happening after my warranty is up so that's why I ask about the potential of getting a new transmission.
I really need some help here!!!
