I'm looking into buying a used '06 Speed6. Besides the recall for the lack of power, what are some common issues with these cars & what is everyone paying for their used Speed6 cars?

crappy movement of the clutch, little pressure, lots of pressure, little pressure. Same thing in reverse. Try finding new 06 models, thats how I got mine. 21k after 3k trade in. 5.5k miles demo model, chuyler I think got his for 19k with only only 1.5k miles.

How about reading some of the posts before starting your own. Its forum etiquette. If you had done this you would have seen two very useful threads.

Second/Next Choice after the MS6 (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123660862) Do you really want a MS6?
main gripe you MS6 owners have? (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123650984) Can you deal with the issues?

You would have also seen that people have asked the same question as you as recently as a few days ago.

So now that you have read all those threads and all your questions have been answered.

Welcome to the Forum!!!

Oh, and I doubt anyone here has a used speed6. They are barely a year old and 06 models can still be found on dealer lots new. Expect to pay 7-9K below sticker price for an 06. For a used one, I'd say they would go for about 12-15 below sticker. Since no one in their right mind is going to take that kind of hit on a year old car, don't expect to see too many used ones for sale.

Lighten up..he is new here. A simple "Try the Search" function would have sufficed.

Normally I would, but when all those threads are on the first page of the current section that means that Insignificant was smart enough to find the Mazda6 welcome section but not smart enough to read past the "New Post" button to see all the threads which might interest him, some of which were right at the top. The search wasn't even necessary in this situation...all he had to do was read.

But whatever, enjoy the forum, I'm sure there will be plenty of people here to force feed you the answers you want. I pointed you in the right direction and that's all you are gonna get from me.

hehehe. Someones not in a so happy mood. Now it may have been a little tough but you helped him more then others would with a "use the search button".

Which is why I don't see a need to lighten up. I prefer the "here's your info now do it right next time!!!" approach. Of course, I'm still not spoon feeding because he has to actually read the threads to find the answers he's looking for.
