Rust under spoiler

I found some rust under my spoiler and ground out all the rust and repainted. Now i wanna reattach the spoiler and am wondering if i should out some silicone around the bolts that go through the trunk just to keep water out? Any help? Thanks!

Well if they use salt on the roads in the winter, then your going to get rust no mater what.
But some silcone grease will help prevent it.
