how do you remove the shifter extension, any help apreciated

with a torch. i suggest NOT doing it. get yourself a true short shifter. you'll be much happier.
i believe you have to cut it off and re-thread it, iirc. better off getting a real shortshifter. I have a kartboy and love it.

Just spend the $100 for a Kartboy or TWM and do it right. It will be more money, but it is worth it for the feel of the shifts and the lower looks. I have the TWM and was one of the best mods I did.

thats sloppy bro go with a true short throw i have a b&m doesnt matter what brand u get but makeshure u get new bushings from kartboy
