This happened this past saturday...luckily in Maryland the at fault person's insurance pays for everything. Im going to try and get them to put a whole new door but we will see. Unfortunately I am beginning to think I have bad luck with new cars. The Mazda 3 I had prior was in a hit and run while parked while it was less than a year. The MS6 hasnt even hit a year yet and now yet again involved in an accident while I was sitting still. Btw I had a 93 Chevy Berretta back in HS that was hit while it sat in a parking lot while I was working. Here's pics of the damage on both vehicles.

I was so hot I asked my friend to take all the pics and talked to the lady that hit me.

Forgot to mention she had another dent on her front bumper...and I just noticed, why the hell does she have a Chevy sticker on her Toyota.

Luckily the airbags did not go off, she really didnt hit that hard but im not sure how much it takes to set them off.

I was waiting to park in front of a restuarant and she just back right into me...claiming she didnt see me but that is not a particularly large suv nor is the MS6 very small. At least she hit me where she did and its just the door so I dont have to worry about the quarter panels or the pillar between the doors.

Repairs are finished...and suprisingly the body shop at the Mazda dealership here got it right the first time. I was extremely impressed and pleased considering the experience I had with my Mazda3 a couple years ago.

Thanks, They replaced the door skin and the door handle as well as some of the inside parts for the window. They initially estimated it around $750 but it ended up to be over twice that once they got into it. It also fixed the window alignment as I was having problems during certain temperature ranges with the window making a popping noise when it was rolled up all the way.

BTW Insignificant, the wheels are Motegi 18" Hyper Black DP6's

I was wondered what a Mazda6 and a Highlander might have to do with one another.

Apparently when an apple hits an orange, neither fares well. Sorry about the car.
