FS is everything you need to build a bullet proof FS bottom end. I have decided to sell all my various parts and projects and consolodate to a corvette. I bought all this new about a year ago from MAM. Everything is brand new in the original packages. And this is the long rod setup.

Included are:

MAM forged rods
Wiseco Forged Pistons (9.0:1 CR, 83.5mm)
Wiseco piston rings
Clevite 77 main and rod bearings
ARP main studs and rod bolts

I am asking $1000 OBO

If it wasent a 9.0:1 compression i would be all over this. Good luck selling it.

lower compression is less likely to ping at higher boost. But if you dont plan on getting a ridiculous amount of power out it then the 9.0 is good. I think 9.0 is stock compression.

Yup 9.0 is stock and most people dont recommed going over 14psi on 9.0 compression. Most people that plan on running higher boost get lower compression pistons to like 8.5. This will allow you to run higher boost and lower your chance of detonation.

I wish I had a grand burning a hole in my pocket.

I have gotten the unfortunate news that my engine is shot, so I am using this opportunity to build one. I have purchased the Arias piston/Pauter rod combo, baffled oil pan, cometic gasket set and walbro fuel pump. I am planning to get some boost running through the 2.0 in my 2002 P5, but I need some direction as to which way to do it. I have a fairly tight budget, so I am looking to do the best to maintain reliability while laying down low 14's, high 13's. Someone please help.

god dammit I need these so bad but I want lower compression, going full standalone and I want to push the limit of the tranny :-/

Apparently 300 whp will push the limit on your tranny and these rods will get you to 300 whp at abotu 15 psi - with a standalone such as the Microtech for example. I say that based upon 12 psi form my Microtech on the nsnmotorsports.com tune.

That's a sweet deal and has me tempted. Problem is, I have a very similar setup that hasn't even gone in yet, and this would just be a backup. I'll give you guys a tip I've learned with my 7.8-1 comp. 323 GTX. No matter what boost you're running, don't drop that CR too much or you'll get run the f**k over in traffic before the car ever starts to pull. I like my 9:1 and am glad my forged motor was built that way. Driveability, baby.

why dont you just get a thicker headgasket to lower the compression then?

Sorry but these are no longer for sale. I have decided to offer them for sale with my car. If the buyer does not want them I will relist when my car sells.

If you really need them then you can buy them with my car,
