Mazda's Remote Start Question [Archive]

Hello All..

I just purchase a GT. They didn't have one with remote start, but they said they will add it in. I also said I want the OEM version. They said no problem. Do I now have to have 2 remotes with me, or do I get a replacement remote that will do everything?... Specifically, I currently have (without remote start installed) a Flat remote that has only 3 buttongs (Open, close, Panic) It also comes with a hidden val key.

Most probaly you will have extra remote...

I saw the OEM option on a website and it looks like it is another key fob.
