Here is the dyno for my 04 6 speed V6 tib with an aquacooled alpine stage 2 s/c for some reason I could only find the run where I did 259.72 whp my top run was 260.4 whp but for some reason it won't load.

That's a lot of power. Good job.

I'm assuming it's on the stock engine?

car must be fast.
Nice numbers. I wouldn't mind having a supercharged tibby. Umm, what psi is this stage 2 kit putting out?
Rio Racer

I am throwing around 6 psi at the moment. Yes the car is fast almost too fast I wish I went back down to stage I to stay out of trouble. Thank you for your compliments.

My plan is to stay at stage 2. I could swap pulleys and go stage 3 with alky injection on a stock block but 300 whp on a FWD car is pretty pointless.

Not its not. Its just alot more fun. Suspension+tires=awesomeness.
I dont know why people set that point at 300whp. Prob they just cant get to that goal. I'd say go for it if you can.

why do you tempt me lol. To be honest though at 260 whp I find myself flying up to corners at near triple digit speeds with no problem. 300 whp might get me into a little too much trouble.

DID have one :) It had crossed my mind a few times, but was too into the speed at the time....and would have went broke trying to mod both vehicles. The wife wrecked it, so i fixed it and got rid of it.....purchased a Chrysler 300. The wife, kid, and my lab needed a larger vehicle anyway....so it worked out. I loved the tiburon though....if i had kept it, it may have been S/C by now :)

Someone needs to start mass producing a simple roots type blower for the proteges.

Who did the tune on it? The A/F looks almost perfect till the end, and even then it's not that bad. I had no idea you were in CT too. I'll probably see you on the pike this summer.

Jonathan at bristol dyno tuned it. He's good. Apexi safc II FTMFW. You live in bristol eh? I live in thomaston and I go to school in middletown and in the summer I go to the pike. My tibby is yellow and whines when ya hit the gas so yeah you won't miss me.

Jon did a good job then. He tuned my supercharged GT as well. I gotta head back to his shop in a couple months.

yessir no intercooler would suck alot. air to coolant system, its nice. My next mod I plan is to put a 10 inch high velocity fan in front of the intercooler to improve airflow on the intercooler even when i'm sitting in traffic. Here is a pic of my blower.

just out of curiosity...are you running a cooler thermostat? But the fans will make a nice addition.
Rio Racer

no cooler thermostat. Apparently the 10 inch fan makes a difference. There is a guy on NT.com that shaved a few tenths of a second off his 1/4 mile time with it.

I hope you're planning on getting a new clutch, plate and flywheel to keep your tranny from blowing. 300WHP on FWD is only pointless from a launch on non sticky tires. (burnout)
