14.7 on wideband at full throttle.

I just bought a 03 msp I have wanted one for years I have built hondas for 15 years,and have a import shop,My point is I have built many custom turbo kits for mitsu and hondas .I put my aem wideband on my msp I noticed that it surges well my a/f is 14.7-15. even at full throttle at first then it pegs 10.0 which I would rather be rich then lean but I am not familier with the mazda yet.My turbo pulls hard and lets of it is like a lean mix but even at 10 it surges.I hooked up a aem tru boost controller it says my car run between 5.6-4.9 psi it fluctuates anyway if anyone has had this problem I would love to here some input before I get into it.And I am running ngks The car only has 60,000 miles.Thanks.

Hmm.. do you know which NGK plugs (not that it probably matters)? I hit 9.2 on my NGK AFX wideband when it goes into boost, "leaning" out to about 12.1 as I get closer to redline.

It definitely shouldn't be 14.7-15 when in boost, I've never seen an MSP that doesn't rich it up as soon as you enter boost.

I'm running 10.0-12.5 under WOT, and I run NGKs. Spiking 9psi, holding 7.5

I idle at 14.7 and around that area, but under accelleration it shouldn't be like that. I'd like to ride, or drive your car to see what you mean though.

Does it only happen right when you get on the throttle? Or, does it happen after you have already been accellerating for a while.
