Few days ago I heard noise from front wheels and it was getting louder once I went faster and really loud when I turn right. I thought it might be the berrings but checked with mechanic and it's not it? then once I have read about similar situation to mine on forum I figured it might be LSD. My Q is : where I can find some good LSDs that will last and how long can I run on broken one if this is it? thankx

Have your mechanic check the axle on the right side. The joint in the axle has probably gone bad.

i thinks its the wheel bearing, i had the same problem at about 60000 km, i heard a humminh noise that got louder at higher speeds, its the wheel bearing for sure, at advance auto parts their 49 bucks each, easy install once you get the axle out and take off the spindle

By any chance, those who have had this problem, was their any other noise a wheel bearing will make when going out? I have this rattling noise coming from the front passenger side thats getting louder. it only rattles with im stepping on the gas partially and the rattling gets faster the higher the RPM, again at partial throttle.

Easy to install?? I don't think its something you can do at home unless you have a machine to press the bears out and in...

Could be a CV joint. I guess that's what Aricjm15 meant by axle joint. Failed/failing CV joints react to speed and turning so its def in play. Since you have an '01 and your roads are liberaly salted during the winter you really are at risk for CV boot cracking even if you miles (kms) are not that high.

Don't CV joints making a clicking noise not a humming noise? Especially audible on the turn with side with worn Cv joints..

I went to 3 different mechanics and all of them said that it's the bearings. I'll try to change them during this week and post what happened.

I got it fixed, it was the bearings. I'm so happy it was just berrings.
