I really, seriously doubt you can fit a KL and a supercharger under the hood of a Protege :P

well you can turbo a kl under the hood of a protege im not 100% sure of a supercharger but i have seen how tight a kl is in a probe and mx-6 there really not all that much more room in a protege. now i could be wrong but i just dont see there being that much more room they hold that same engines. let me see if i can cut and paste a picture of a kl/supercharged motor

Yeah I saw that site a few weeks ago, don't know how I never saw it before then. I would much rather have supercharged my car than going the turbo route.

yah supercharger would be awesome. hey what ever happened to the aftermarket turbo kits that go on the backside of the car near the muffler - i can't remember where i've seen these though (and no i'm not going crazy in case your wondering).

your not talking about the exhaust tornado thing are you..lol..i think that thing was dead before it got a chance.. you would install it in your exhaust piping and it would create some bs vortex.

Thomas Knight Turbos is garbage. Very sketchy company. Search other car forums and see some of the hooror stories. Just turbo your FS with a built block from a vendor and make some serious power :)

I'm not sure what it was, but it looked pretty effective, the only thing i could never figure out is it was very prone to bottoming out and falling off the car - talk about 2 grand being left behind somewhere and your car crawling to a stall

theres a mustang on the front cover of 5.0 mustang magazine with a rear mount turbo setup throwing down some serious numbers...would rear mounting create alot of lag or anything??

Just a little bit more lag, not a tremendous amount. I saw a vid of one of the fastest c5 vettes, it was a rear mount setup.
