Welcome to the forums! As jandree22 stated the 5 is freekin sweet ride, especially with a growing family. My son loves sitting in the captains chairs. He can see so much more now unlike when he would sit in the back of a car.

Welcome!

The only thing I can say:

Mazda5 + family with a little one (AKA the king or queen of the house) = fun, safety, great design and kick-ass practicality (bowdown)

Mazda5 + my family with 3 little ones = totally wicked!!!...

well that's what the little one's keep telling me...

i like the cool factor... the wow!!! wtf is that? looks... the low profile... this aint no soccer mom van... this is a beefy stylish hatchback with all the practicality a family needs (sliding doors, fuel effieciency etc.)... and then some...

I didn't believe the claims until I saw it for myself just today. Parked next to a Pontiac Vibe (aka Toyota Matrix), these cars are nearly identical in size.

my brother-in-law has a matrix and we took a picture of both just to compare how close in size they really were..

here's the pic

can you name a vehicle where the kids can enter and exit from the hatch??? my little ones love doing that...

the longer i own my 5 the more i appreciate the versatility of this vehicle. this car was really made for moms/dads with little ones like most of us in here.
