I can no longer see the images fine from the side mirror, things are distorted. I think it is warped for whatever reason. Any similar experience?

Where are you located? I've heard about this during winter in some cold locales. Bring it to your dealership and they may replace it if it's very warped (but it may happen again with the new one too).

My driver's side outside mirror came that way. Will eventually have to get it changed - which side is warped on yours, csj?

doesnt it say in the manual that the driver side mirror is different from the passenger side mirror? Something about the driver mirror providing a wider angle of view using a slightly convex shape...

i find that my driver side is warped looking too but i assumed it was because of what it said in the manual...

Thanks guys.
No, it is not the "objects may appear closer than they are" thing on the passenger side's. I have been using the car for almost a year now and it just happened few days ago, and I think it might have to do with the cold weather like some mentioned.

Possible. Happened to me also but I couldn't recall if it happeend in the winter or it was made like this. I don't think it has something to do with design. Object are just distorted (a little bit).

In my 2007 manual it says on page 3-25 (right side column) that the mirrors are different....

The driver side mirror is a flat-mirror
The passenger front side mirror is a convex mirror

They're supposed to be different. I guess if you try to compare the view to each other maybe that's why it seems to have a slight distortion...
