Just bought a 99 protege, 5spd manual, and I'm noticing a clicking sound when accelerating while turning (just normal acceleration, not racing), but it doesn't happen at all if the clutch is in and I coast around a turn. The strange thing is, once the the car is warmed up, and I've made a few trurns the clicking stops. I have no idea what this might be, anybody know?

might check your transaxle fluid as well...turning with cold fluid could lower the coverage and coating on the gears...make interesting noises.
