I am thinking of getting a MS3 in the near future, but am worried about limitations of the fuel system. What are the limitations of the disi? Is there any? what would it take to modify this for use of a larger turbo/ much more boost and power? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've read somewhere the stock fuel setup will handle quite a bit. There is some guy with a gt3071r(i think) and don't think I've heard of him having any fuel problems(on an ms6 by the way).

yea i was wondering because i know nothing abotu the disi, like my integra needs larger injectors as i get bigger. If the mzr fuel sytem can handle a massive turbo IM GAME!

Thanks ZOOM_ZOOM

What all do you have done to the teg, I had 660s on mine before it was all said and done with.

That's tight, I just had a rev hard turbo kit, edlebrock intake mani, and the stock ls tranny with open lsd.

It dynoed 280ish hp 250ish tq. Ran it down the track and completely stripped with next to no traction ran a low 13, I'll have to look for my timeslips. It was a very fun car with no a/c, ps, interior, and everything rattled, and I was married to wheelspin.

oh hell yea, best comparison to a speedy go cart lol Thats a crap load of torque for a honda lol, was it ls?

It was an ls, and everyone that road in my car literally everyone said it felt like a high powered go cart. There's a pretty badass tuner in Houston that tuned it, he gets really high numbers out of setups that just seem lame in comparisson to more expensive kits.

thats why there are so many crazy fast hondas out there, every weekend i see street 11/10 second hatches rolling around crushing. But its so unpractical (like you said no ps ac or interior)

I kinda want to boost a like 93 hatch sohc or a crx. Those have made some pretty decent numbers.

The direct-injection system in the MS3 is waaaay different than any port-injection system any of us have ever played with before. I don't believe that there will be replacements available at any time, but I have a pretty good feeling that the fuel system is up to the task of making much more than the 260-ish HP that the engine makes now.

How would you control the larger injectors? As Bufalo said, this is waaaay different than any port-injection system.

I think the current fuel system will support close to 400hp, but I do wonder if some combustion efficiency will be lost around that level since the fuel will have no time to mix.

I believe there's someone on the 6 club froums that is boosting 26psi on an upgraded turbo with no fuel issues whatsoever. The stock injectors can flow!

Actually, that's incorrect- he ran into problems and is in talks with CPE over a secret project to fix things!
