Afc=cel????

Well I installed my DSM AFC this weekend and driving out of my appartment complex today a cel popped up. i went and got it read and they said it was the MAF. anyone think it could have something to do with my AFC? i am going to clean my filter and MAF soon to see if maybe it is dirty.

also the car runs totally fine, so i am confused

Did you use the light green and black wire for MAF?

and if i didnt hoock it up to the rite wire wouldn't the car run like shit? cause it runs perfectly fine.

No, it woulnd't run like crap for about 150-200 miles. My mechanic F'd up my wiring and it still ran for a while, and ran pretty good.

turns out he didn't even wire up the right green wire for the MAF because on the Pin-Out the 86 looks like 88, and the AFC instructions don't specify light green and black, they say green wire no. 88.

what wire is it supposed to be hoocked up to?

The light green and black wire, pin out no. 88. It's just when you print out the pin-out it's not really legible, so the 86 looks like 88 and vice versa. Then with both the wires being green, it get's confusing.

hm i will have to go check that out. will have to get some new conecters too
