Where can I find a good tuning guide, or examples of what others have done with their proteges? I just got a 95.

there are other protege forums and club of proteges, I guess you could call it protegeclub (do a search) and they have a pretty strong 2nd gen section. there's a guy named Mr. Blue who has done some wicked stuff. I bought a few parts there. Also you definetly want to search for part interchangeability; ford escort, mazda protege, mazda miata etc all have parts that can be swapped, some not all, it's like a puzzle.
I've done exhaust, (had) plug wires and new plugs, Kyb struts, and new sound system. nothing fancy. I spent most of my time just doing upkeep. it's my wife's car, so I wasn't goin all out, then I got a miata and LIFE IS GOOD, so now she rolls my P5. I'm hoping to do some more repair work to the 2nd gen and keep her as a winter beater, or if I get the $$ tune her into a sleeper.
