Whats up guys, I just got my MS CAI put on today. Took my friend and I about 2 hrs taking our time. Wow is all I gotta say  Combined with the Turboxs parts this thing sounds really mean! The turbo is almost ridiculously loud, the Hybrid BOV is much more pronounced as well and I can already tell the it pulls a good bit harder.

I was on my way home after putting it on at my friends garage and I pulled behind a sliver SSR. Nice little truck, had the LS2 badge on the back, dual exhaust with polished tips and huge rear tires (boom08) We both took a left at the following light and he jumped on it so I thought I might as well play too. We got to a large stretch of road (with no cars in sight) and he floored it. I put it in 3rd and shortly after I shifted to fourth I had to hit the brakes b/c I was pulling up rather quickly on him. I couldn't believe this car with only minor mods pulled that hard on a SSR, I know its a truck but I thought they were pretty mean. Guess they have got to be pretty heavy as well though. We pulled up to a four way stop and he looked back in his rear view mirror, clapped (I guess applauding the fact this little pocket rocket pulled on him) and then gave the thumbs up before turning left. Wish we could have talked, I would have gotten some pics of his ride. He seemed like a cool guy.

Anyways, here are some pics of my MS CAI, now I just have to wait for the downpipe from Turboxs and I"ll be set for a while....maybe (drive2)

very nice!

if you raced the new SSR, those have the 390HP corvette motor, the older one has a 300HP engine. either way good kill :)

Looking good :D Can you hook us up with a sound clip of the BOV in action?

Get a sound clip if you can. I have the CAI installed and am debating between HKS or TurboXS BOV.

I like down to earth people like that, but hate those "trucks".

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm going to try and borrow a video camera next week for when I go to the dyno. The CAI sounds amazing with the Turboxs test pipe and hybrid BOV. Hopefully I can get some vids for you guys, I'll post it next weekend with any luck(cabpatch)

I had the test pipe put on a few weeks ago and yes you can definitely tell a difference. It is a very cheap investment for some impressive gains.

Not long at all, probably 40 minutes or so.

How loud is the race pipe? It's hard to tell from those short clips from TurboXS.

Not loud at all, very little difference from stock. The biggest change you will notice will be the whistle that you hear from the turbo.

Very nice, I am trying to decide on if I should chang my short ram to the mazdaspeed cai. I am still up in the air on what to do? My friend has his cai on his speed6 and didnt notice a huge difference in performance like I did with my short ram.

I could tell a pretty big difference. Not sure how it compares to your SRI setup though, you might gain a few more horses from it. It might not be worth the hassle of swapping it out though.
