Is there any adjustments in the stock MSP shifter to remove the play. I have more than 1/4 inch of wiggle and I like it tight. If there is a thread for doing the adjustment or worn part replacement, please show me the way. Thanks(friday)

I would lean toward installing the Corksport bronzeoil bushings and the Kartboy control rod bushing. It's an easy install, just don't overtighten the bronzoils and use lock washers on them to keep them from loosening back up. PM me if you need more info. There will always be just a little bit of slack due to materials and necessary clearances, but it will help a lot.

Thanks, I want to get the parts soon. Any info would be great (where to buy and how to install). I have had the center consul out before, no problem there.

kartboy bushings will make the shifter feel more direct. you can buy those straight from kartboy.com

You do all the work from underneath. No pulling the console. It's pretty easy and Kartboy has install instructions with pictures. The bronzoil bushings just replace the four little circular plastic ones that are at either end of the shifter rod. It will make perfect sense when you look at those install pics and then get under there and look at the shift rod and control rod.
