Grinding from Steering Column

So I notice this grinding or rubber on rubber sound from the steering column for the last two days every time I turn the steering wheel. Anyone else have this problem? My mother mercedes turned out to be a lemon due to the steering column (they replace 4 and it still didn't fix it.) I'll see what the dealer says when I go in on Saturday.

has to do with your airbag. i had a rattle in my steering wheel and they replaced the clockspring too.

haha.... That wasn't it. It noise is back. Went in on Friday. They are replacing the whole steering column later this week when it come in.
