Clutch/Flywheel Question.... ATTN "THE MAN!"

I was reading the protege FAQ and it was saying how you could take a clutch from a v6 probe/626/mx6 and put it in the old proteges with BP's, it was just the slightest bit bigger. I know they all have g-series trannys so would the same be true for us with the G-15MR? Id like to use an MX3 flywheel and find a nice clutch for it. The MX-3 flywheel is only 16 pounds and it can be machined down even lighter and i can get a used one for basically free. Can our stock flywheels be machined or are they the two piece kind?
