ES suspension is supposed to be marginally stiffer, according to the Protege FAQ. I'd assume this is through different springs?

Nope, the only difference is suspension is that the ES had a slightly larger rear sway + a larger mounting tab for the endlinks.
There may be something else... but I doubt it.

Springs are the same, and if there not its nothing noticable.
Thread moved to correct sub-forum.

I have three set of springs. One Goldline (installed). One LX from my original car. And i have an ES set that i traded with an extra pair of side mirrors. I am selling a set and i wanted to know if their was a difference.
So wich set you guys i should sell? My I'm guessing the LX ones.
Thanks!

Sell the LX ones, just incase. lol
springs are the same.....Struts on the other hand are different in ES and LX.....LX and DX have same struts.....ES on the other hand has different (stiffer) struts....that's why its called sport-tuned suspension on the ES. (same struts on P5 as ES i believe) (thumb)
