my gf's car, a 2000 honda civic, has a side mirror falling off. it looks like someone ran into it. not with a car but a person. anyways, it's not totally off. the connections are still connected. it looks like the rubber weather strip is the thing that ripped. everything is still in good condition except for the fact that its just half way hanging. is there anyway to glue this back on and if so, what kind of glue will be the best bet.

When u mean hanging, its like only hanging by the harness? Do you see any studs coming out the back of the mirror?

no studs and its not hanging by the harness. its hanging on by the rest of the unbroken weather strip or rubber thing.

If no studs are damaged and the inside base isn't cracked or damaged and you can push the mirror flush to the car door with no problem then i would try a two sided foam tape. The stuff you use to say hold on a molding to a door or try an epoxy.

I think I see a stud in the reflection on the first pic. It doesn't look like the stud is broken, but it does look like the stud ripped off the piece of the door that was holding it on.
