car going nutz

i have a 01 protege 2.0 it will run fine and then from one min to another my cel will start flashing and my car starts to sputter real bad it goes away after about 2o miles or if i turn the car off for about a min the code its throwing is mutiple cylinder misfire i have changed plug wires coils plugs and it still does it this is driving me nutz and no one seems to know y including the dealer can some one please help me out

look at the egr valve,it must be stuck,and it throws a mrandom misfire code,so,might be your problem...

did that sunday ran fine then lastnite bam it started agian this is driving me crazy

Could an injector be failing? You obviously have good spark and bad gas doesn't fully explain the problem...I'd look at injectors.

Did you mess around with the maf. Friend of mine's Escort was acting the same way. He drove 5 miles with the car sputtering over to my place. After 5 min we noticed the maf was loose so we adjusted it and tightened the clamps and that did. It was taking in un-metered air.
