Okay so what would the estimated HP and TQ be on a Mazdaspeed 3 with the following mods. Downflow tube, CP-E xhaust, and an Intake? I don't know what other performance mods there really are besides a chip. Also maybe with an FMIC? Curious on what those add up to and then compare to Xede's / Exede chip to see how much gains and such.. Sorry if this is a stupid post.

turboback exhaust=+40 whp and 30 tq I believe 15-20 whp from a cai and there are not fmic because of fitment issues, there is a nice top mount available that will give you another 20whp. Not sure what the total would be and how each mod would effect each other. the xede will give you about 40 whp.

I personally find it hard to believe that there is an exhaust in existance that adds 40 hp on its own. Or does that include electronic tuning also?

That's a full 3 inch turboback, highflow cats and mandrel bent. On a turbo car that really doesn't seem that far fetched as you probly even see your powerband come sooner and last longer + the horsepower.

That's pretty badass so there could probably be aaround a 100hp increase adding that plus the XEDE tuning. Over 300HP on a mazdaspeed 3... Not too bad. I'm guessing that'd cost around 3-3.5k?

Good luck getting that power to the pavement on front wheel drive. I'd say thats almost too much for the front wheels.

Any reasoning behind that Dutch?

I am not sure if the power from the mods will add up like that. I doubt you will get 100 hp because there is only so much power the stock turbo can put out. All of those mods are going to lean out the a/f ratio, so it is likely that you would not get 100whp.

but with the XEDE Couldn't you alter the A/f ratio?

Ya, listen to dread. Don't make the mistake of adding up the gains of all the individual parts...you'll be disappointed if you do when you dyno your car afterwards.

I'd just be happy to push 300hp / tq with all of them. I definitely appreciate all yours guys's help.

Best way to achieve that with all those parts purchased and installed is to TUNE it afterwards. You don't want to spend all that $$$ on the mods only to have your car end up running like shazzbutt afterwards.

Copious amounts of Torque steer. Knowing that these cars would most likely be modded, Mazda definitely should have put the Passive AWD from the MS6 in this car.

My finely calibrated virtual butt dyno has indicated max hp with this setup of 296.8., max torque is 308.9 at the wheels. This is an improvement of 69.4 hp and 72.6 ft/lbs over the virtual base butt dyno levels of 227.4 hp and 236.3 ft/lbs.

BTW my virtual tail pipe sniffer indicates you are running lean over 5100rpm, so you should get a custom tune.
