The dealership is trying to tell me my exhaust is aftermarket which is the reason my back lip is falling off... wat is the stock exhaust called and can someone post pics...

which msp do you have? 03 or 03.5?

2003 is made by Racing Beat and has Mazdaspeed on the tip. The 03.5/7 have a different style tip. The dealers were replacing warranty mufflers with the later style.

How is your dealer and what is on your car?

idk i was just wonderin cuz the guy was tryin to bullshit me sayin i have an aftermarket exhaust wen i dont... i have a yellow 2003.5

you have dumb dealer too ? mine doesnt even know what a msp is.. all he knows is that i has a turbo and 4 disc brakes..

they look at me like i killed there mother when i mention cone filter..

The guy was like yea i have a MSP on teh lot and it has a different exhaust so yours must be aftermarket... i was like no... yea thats wat the guys said... no they are wrong go check it out and then call me back

your body kit is falling off which sadly enough happens alot. all they will do to fix it is put more double sided tape on there. so if you dont want to have to deal with the stealership then just do it yourself. there is a how to floating around here some where

Your exhaust should be oval shapped and say Mazdaspeed on it

It will be oval if you have the original axle back on there. Many people with 03.5's (including myself) experienced the tip of the oval muffler cracking. The dealers replaced it under warranty for and upgraded Mazdaspeed axleback. It is still a Mazda part, but not the original one and IMO a much better piece. I'll find a pic of the difference.

If you have either of these axlebacks on your car, they cannot say shit and your stealership is like the rest of them, ignorant.
