Hey everyone. I just boosted my Pro5 with a MSP kit and the 2nd O2 sensor that I had in the original header has the spark plug non fouler mod on it, to keep from getting a cel. I was wondering if I should keep it that way or just go back to the plan sensor. I ran it like that for a minute or so then I took the non fouler off, I couldn't really tell a difference. Note, I don't have any cats. Just open pipe all the way back to the 'muffin'. Thanks for any info. Later.
And another question. Every now and then when the car is idling, it kinda dies out and then comes back up to normal rpms. Is that a vacuum leak or something? Thanks.

Drive around without it, and within 50 miles your CEL will come on. That good enough?

I'll second that, the CEL will come on without a cat.

Does the non-fowler setup work well?

Yes works very well, I haven't had any trouble with mine and I have put them on other people's cars with no problems.

I had it in my header for quite a while, never saw a cel.

It works very well period and does not require you to hack in to a harness. I ran my catless pipe for over 10,000 miles without the fouler trick. When the POS broke and I had it fixed, I got a CEL and the fouler trick eliminated it and its not been a problem since for over 30,000 miles.
