Took a test drive & I signed z papers today . . . so just as soon as they can get my sweet new Red MS-6's windows tinted, I take delivery. I can't wait.
Glad I found this forum . . . it's a fun & valuable resource.
I'll be back in touch after I take delivery and subsequently stop drooling!
Cheers

Welcome aboard. Make sure to posts up some pics. There is a fridge in the corner with (root) beer and some pizza on the table. Make yourself at home.

I getting ready to tint the windows on my 06. How dark is the tint you guys are using on your cars? I'm thinking about doing 35% all the way around, but i had a mustang that i put 5% on the back three windows and 35% on the driver and passenger window. Any input?

Welcome to the community. I would say 5% all the way around if it wal legal, I just love the blacked out look.
Having said that I have 32% in the front and 5% for the back half of the car.

This isn't the best photo in the world but it shows some of the contrast. I never really took a photo straight on from the side of the car and I'm at work or I'd get you one. Maybe I'll do it tonight, it will force me to wash my car....it's been snowing and cold around my house for a couple of weeks now...I hate winter.

Yeah, 35% is the limit in the front, but i can go 5% in the back. That pic looks really good, and i bet during the summer time it protects the inside of your car and keeps it a touch cooler.
After seeing that pic, I think i will do the 32% and 5% in the back! Thanks!

Now, if I can just master this "on/off-switch-clutch"!
I'm pretty much fine once I get going . . . for me, its the launch that's difficult to perfect.
I love this car.
cheers.

I'm in the same boat, except mines white.
Speaking of tint, what's a good 35% tint that has more of that charcoal grey color? The Formula One ceramic tint on my 330i has a bit of a greenish hue to it.

Remember that the windows on the MS6 are already tinted and have a greenish hue to them, so the color of the tint will not look 100% accurate when they put it on. I found that 35% looked darker once it was on because of this.
