Is the EGR Probelm a Warranty issue?

Ok just like the title says IS THE EGR PROBLEM COVERED BY THE WARRANTY ? My car is almost @ 40,000 miles and i have a extended warranty on the car also . Wondering if i take it in will the fix the problem .

it should fucking be, I mean the egr is a stock part of the engine that brings up a cel if not working property and might cause you to fail an emmissions test.

Yeah, it should be fixed under warranty. My car had a little less than 80k miles on it and i guess thats the mileage warranty for exhaust problems, so they fixed it. Something happened like Mazda didnt want to cover it under warranty and the mechanics didnt want to work on it under warranty but the dealership owner said to fix it. All in all I'm happy.

Most likely yes. If they dont give you the warranty its like a 500-700 dolla fix.
