Ok.....I just installed some hard pipes/forge bov/Cai....again...on this car....I decided to just keep it and at least make it somewhat fun to drive. Exhaust is on the way as well as a front clip...so.....IM BACK!!!! It should be an all around...interesting ride, i hope to see some of you guys at that car show in Panama City, Florida a few weeks from now....anyway!

My problem is...this crazy ass hesitation and fuel cut at peak boost.... The original reason i kept hitting a fuel cut was due to a cracked nipple on the hot pipe coming from the turbo. Well...i thought replacing the pipes would rememdy this...but now the boost builds....then BAM! hits the cut.......

This has to be a boost related issue. I just dont know where to start looking....i am going to remove the BOV tomorrow and go back to the stock bpv...i just dont want all of that compression surge....

Can someone please advise which boost lines to examine? I replaced the majority of them....i just cant think of where this leak is....

on top of this...for the people with the hard pipes from *treet*nit (I win fuck heads).... were they a bitch to install? I had one pipe blow off earlier because it is almost like the cold pipe was to long....which caused excessive stress on the clamps when the engine would rock back and forth....I am afraid to get on it because i feel like the pipe is just going to blow off again under boost....

It sounds mean as a motherfucker though....on top of looking really nice....

Thanks guys....

Also...the vac reads 10 not...the original 20 to 22 like before....hope that helps some.....the boost spikes at 7.5 to 8 then hits the cut before the needle can fall....

if vac is that shitty, then there's definitely a leak somewhere. make yourself a boost leak tester. easy to do and can cost about 10 bucks when your all said and done.

check the WGA by lightly blowing into the vac line running to it. If it lets out air that means that your diaphragm is bad (or possibly that that particular vac line has a leak, i guess).

Oh, and i have a friend who had a hell of a time getting his SU coldpipe to fit as well.

i will post pics on a different thread once it is done.....i think after this leak is finished the car is finished unless i blow the motor...then you will have another person on this forum trying to build a 400hp car.....

awesome...it has to be the wastegate actuator...because i can blow air right through it...... I see that they go for 50 something bucks online....how hard are these to install? It seems really simple...but i am hoping i dont have to remove the whole damn turbo!
