Some questions about aftermarket piston/ring kits.

1. I have seen pistons by Arias, Wiseco, CP. Anyone running these brands on a boosted FS-DE for a while? Impressions on performance? I heard there were issues with Wiseco?

2. Are FS-DE blocks sleeved? If I buy a .10 overbore and rehone, will I be comprimising the sleeve integrity? Maybe resleeve, Darton?

Any insight from our master FS gurus here is much appreciated.....(scratch)

.010 is fine for overbore no problems will arise.

Are you using this bore size? I still need to know if the block is sleeved, like Honda's?

it is closed deck, no sleeves. all three brands of pistons you listed are fine.

Unless you really want to, you don't need to overbore unless it is necessary. Check with your machine shop beforehand to spec out your block.

I hope there's no problems with Wiseco. My "extra" motor was built with them and has mucho $$ in the piston coatings. That would sucketh.

If you order from wiseco and have them custom built, have fun waiting. I know i didnt, so i went with cp.
