ok, so i have this rattle and before i turn the car off i tried to put down the passenger window using the drivers door switches to lower it. nothing.
i think thats odd, so i put down the drivers window, fine. try the rears, nothing. At first i thought they might have ice in them due to the recent storm or because i dont use them that much, so i open/closed them hard and tapped on the glass to loosen anything but still nothing.

any ideas, is there maybe a relay or something for the other 3 not used by the driver door? i find it odd if it were the motors that 3 would die at the same time.

any help would be useful.

did you try them all from your drivers master switch? if they dont work from that i would say its that switch. if you tried them all at the individual door then im stumped.

yeah i tried all the windows from all the switches.
i did find a post on here that said power went to the driver side first and then went out to the other windows, but i havent found anything about a fuse or relay between them.

Do you have the window lock button depressed? Switch at the bottom of the master switch. HAs a window on it.

well yes, the window lock was on. i guess im glad its not serious, but in order to argue against me being retarded, i will say its odd that the master switches dont work when the lock is on.

thanks!

glad it was an easy fix.

Glad I found this 'fix'. I even pulled the fuse trying to figure this out! Guess I needed to step back and look at the obvious!

The window lock button is easy to accidentally depress if you rest your arm on that door panel at any time while driving.
