I was told that others had done this swap on this forum befor, and was wondering if anyone could lend a hand or send me here I could get some info on how this is done. I was told that Im missing out on like 20 hp without it so...

It should be the same as any other ECU. I work for BMW and they do things abit different than this but for mazda just unplug the battery and hold the terminals together for 30 seconds to drain any electricity out of the ECU. Next unplug the connecter from the old ECU and plug it into the new ECU. Reconnect the battery and enjoy your 20HP.(drinks)

you can't use the JDM ECU until you get the wiring harness with it.you wont ever pass US emissions laws again after the JDM ecu swap since you're basicly putting an OBD-I engine into a OBD-II class car if that's a priority to you. if you plan on keeping the ZE then I'd suggest doing the JDM ECU swap promptly, the US Spec ECU is for all purposes, running the ZE out of specification which is going to cause all sorts of problems.

Just use the stock ECU for now and get a piggyback to tune and make up for the lost HP, which is nowhere near 20hp. The JDM ECU will never work due to the harness, etc. and it is not worth it.
Just make sure you run 93 octane to prevent detonation with those high comp pistons on the stock tune.

depends on what you want. the mpi works well(contact kooldino), but I would suggest the haltech f10x or the microtech. but they might be overkill in which case stick to the mpi.

Ok I'm wondering were i can get the computer and why i was not told about this earlier. My bro and i run at the drags every year and now with my 02 pro5 he is a bit faster so i could use the extra power.and is there anything i need to do other than swap the computer. I have been trying to find more hp with out huge $ but if its from another car sweet.
