it all depends on how you use it. i've seen a clutch in a corolla last 170k, i've had a clutch in an eclipse gst last 150k with racing and bullshit, i've seen others with the same car last only 70k. its kinda the same as asking how long the stock mazda brake pads will last to put it in a different perspective.

I just sold my 1989 Ford Probe GT (ie, Mazda MX6 Turbo), with 221K miles on it .... still on the orig clutch.
How do I know for sure? I bought the car new off the lot in 1989. How long they last is directly related to how you treat them.

depends on the driver
a clutch can last more than 100k miles, or less than 15k with teh right kind of abuse

the clutch in my 99' protege ES lasted for 100,000 miles, and still had a bit left before I did the swap.

I have 21000 miles on the clock and have had the turbo kit in the car for about 3k of those miles, and the clutch is still as sticky as the day I bought it. I have been to the track 3 times (probably totalling about 25 runs), but drive it pretty easy around town.

I've got a friend with 200K+ on his 93 Corolla Wagon 5-spd. Stock clutch. ...and he doesn't plan on replacing it any time soon.
So if you only use the clutch in 1st gear and rev-match it should last a very long time.
