I just recently got my unichip working after many problems with it because of the place i bought it from putting on the wrong map... The guy said don't use the boost controller its not good and can spike.
Has anyone used the boost controller and does anyone know about it than can tell me how it is? Thanks

its a peice of shit man, dont use it. Get a greddy profec b spec 2. Basically dude, its not adjustable except between low and high. But your mods will change where low and hi are. On a stock car, low is 6psi and hi is 10psi. On my car it was 10 psi and 15psi! Btw if you didnt know, dont push your msp beyond 10psi without supporting mods and good tuning or you'll blow your engine. PM me if you have any other questions regarding the unichip and i'll try to help you out.
yeah i just got my unichip, and i can't use the high boost setting. I would buy an EBC, except for me it'll be cheaper to get it tuned, which will control the boost issues AND make more power by having it tuned specifically to my mods.
I'd try checking the unichip site and seeing if theres an authorized dealer in your area that can tune, or hit up JDM Sam (he's THE guy on the forums for unichip tuning from all i've heard).

turboback exhaust, front mount intercooler, intake, bigger injectors, walbro fuel pump, and a proper dyno tune with your unichip

you should be okay AT 10 psi with your stock injectors as far as i know, but yeah maybe past that they should be upgraded.

i would have to disagree, i dont feel you need a Dyno tune. A unichip tune is sufficient. I do agree w/ the IC upgrade, CAI, TBE, but dont feel injectors and fuel pump is needed. Oh yeah, spark plugs/wires would not be a bad idea also.
Where are you located, Oh3speed, i would definately talk w/ JDM Sam @ *********************** for some great prices and info regarding the Unichip/tune.

pretty sure the fuel pump is fine. Isnt unichip suppost to spike to 14 then down to 10psi on high boost?

Who loaded the map? The EBC works as good as the tuner that tunes it.
It's the same valve that AEM, Haltech, and many other companies use.

A tuner that knows what the hell they're doing.
