View Full Version : No longer own a mazda
Wife traded in the 2003 LX protege for a pontaic G5.
The LX was a nightmare for repairs and only had 80K on it.
Kind of weird, I have owned a mazda since 1999. Oh well.

How do you like the G5? I know I enjoy driving around in my cousin's Cobalt SS S/C. Are you going to endup leaving it stock? I do not think I've seen any on the road over here on the Seacoast. How about some pictures?
Its my wife's car, so my guess is that it will remain stock althoutgh I have the WORST urge to jump into that cr with some fiberglass and subwoofers :)
She wants some nicer wheels but thats a ways out.
She has the base model with just a sunroof, pioneer system, and ABS. Unlike the cobalt that means it has all of the power goddies.
I was very suprised by the power, handling, and overall perfoamcne. its very nice. Interior wise, it looks and feels really crappy but I think thats becuase it is TOUGH. My tundra in comparision is very soft and well fit but anything can scratch the panel.
I'll have to get the camera out

I hope you won't feel any regret! My pal just bought the same car and how he wished he never switched.
