Whats up guys, My friend overlooked at a site he was at and it said something about recalling the MS3 because of the engine mounts...Can anyone confirm if this is true? As my friend claims, they have recalled about 15 MS3 so far...

I had the dealer check my bolt, it was tight and definitely not loose. Sounds like a rare issue.

when i first saw this thread i was kinda relieved until i read it. after driving my ms3 for about 250 miles a weird sound is coming right underneath me when i'm in first or at a complete stop in neutral. its kinda a high pitch grinding sound and goes away if i'm shifting out of first or stepping on the brake. i wish i could be more technical about it but going to the dealer in a few days so hopefully (or not, depending on how you look at it) i can recreate it there.

does it sound like a little bird? thats what mine sounds like...its annoying when the radio is off...its jsut the gas pedal tho...leave it in first gear aroound 2k rrpm and periodically gas it...it should reproduce the sound...i do it sometimes in plazas cuz its funny...

There was never a recall. Just warranty work that had to be performed on several cars. Reflex is truly a fool.

My M3 had a motor mount issue that the dealer tried to act like it wasn't there when I had already seen the TSB on it..
He was actually looking at it on his computer when he told me he had no idea what I was referring to... I caught him looking at it when I went behind the counter and busted him out.
arse. Anywho, wouldn't be suprised if the MS3 had an issue since I'm sure the motor torques around more.

That makes no sense that a dealer would deny something like that. They get paid to do the work on the cars.

They don't get paid for warranty work...

the dealer itself does not, but employees such as mechanics and managers do
:edit: and correct me if i'm wrong but part of the retail prices goes towards warranty when u purchase a vehicle?

Regardless, I don't know why he was being a jerk.
When I took the tech for a ride, he even said "Oh yeah, I hear that"
They probably were busy or something and just didn't wanna deal with me.
I haven't the slightest =/

Doesn't the dealer get paid by mazda for the warranty work?
